The decomposition of \(N_2O_5\ (g)\) is given as
\(N_2O_5(g) \rightarrow 2NO_2(g) + \frac{1}{2}O_2(g)\)
The above reaction is found to be of first order.
The initial concentration of \(N_2O_5\) was \(1.24 \times 10^{-2}\ M\) at \(318\ K\).
The concentration \(N_2O_5\) after \(60\ minutes\) was \(0.20 \times 10^{-2}\ M\).
The rate constant of the reaction at \(318\ K\) is ______________ (\(log\ 6.2 = 0.792\))CUET 2025 Hard - A reaction is second order with respect to a reactant. If the concentration of the reactant is increased by 1.5 times, the

- About linear programming problem (LPP), which of the following statements are correct ?
(A) In a LPP, the linear inequalities or restrictions on the variables are called linear constraints.
(B) If the feasible region for an LPP is unbounded, then the maximum or minimum value of the objective function \(Z=a x+b y\) never exists.
(C) The feasible region for an LPP is always conver.

Werner in 1898, propounded his theory of coordination compounds. In coordination compounds metals show two types of linkages (valences)-primary and secondary. The primary valences are normally ionisable and are satisfied by negative ions. The secondary valences are non-ionisable. These are satisfied by neutral molecules or negative ions. The secondary valence is equal to the coordination number and is fixed for a metal. The ions or group bound by the secondary linkages to the metal have characteristic spatial arrangements corresponding to the different coordination numbers. Both double salts as well as complexes are formed by the combination of two or more stable compounds in stoichiometric ratio. However, they differ in the fact that double salts such as carnallite, Mohr's salt, potash alum etc. dissociate into simple ions completely when dissolved in water. But complex ions do not dissociate completely into simple ions.

- Answer the question on the basis of passage given below :
There are some deposits of nitrates and phosphates in the earth’s crust. Nitrates are more soluble in water. Nitrates are difficult to reduce under laboratory conditions, but microbes do it easily. Ammonia forms a large number of complexes with transition metals. Hybridisation easily explains the ease of sigma donation capability of NH₃ and PH₃. Phosphine is an inflammable gas, prepared from white phosphorus.
Which of the following is the correct statement?
A. Between NH₃ and PH₃, NH₃ is a better electron donor because the lone pair of electrons occupy spherical 's' orbital and is less directional.
B. Between NH₃ and PH₃, NH₃ is a better electron donor because the lone pair of electrons occupies sp³ orbital and is more directional.
C. Between NH₃ & PH₃, PH₃ is a better electron donor because the lone pair of electrons occupies sp² orbital and is more directional.
D. Between NH₃ & PH₃, PH₃ is a better electron donor because the lone pair of electrons occupies 's' orbital and is less directional.
